1 Killed in Shooting at Grand Rapids Strip Mall

One person has died after a shooting at Town & Country Shopping Center on Kalamazoo Ave. SE near 44th St. Saturday evening.

Wood TV 8 reports that the victim has been identified as 17-year-old James King.

According to a witness, around 5p.m. King was walking in the parking near Florentine's Sports Lounge when a shot was fired from a nearby car.

An employee at the restaurant described it as a drive-by shooting to Wood TV 8.
