A Tribe Called Quest's We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service was a fitting end for one of hip-hop's greatest groups. Although fans will never hear another Tribe LP due to Phife Dawg's death, they may get to see the group perform one last time. In a new interview, Q-Tip announced tentative plans for a farewell tour.

“This is our last record, and we’ll probably do a world tour,” Q-Tip told Billboard. “After that, that’s it, for the rest of our lives.”

Anyone who saw Tribe on Saturday Night Live knows the remaining members can still put on a great show. They also know how to honor Phife Dawg and blend his verses into the performance.

The new Tribe album touched on some of the political unrest in the country, which was prescient in light of the presidential election. In the Billboard interview, Q-Tip spoke about his disappointment with Donald Trump's victory..

“He’s somebody who’s never held political office,” Q-Tip said.. “He’s never been, like, an assistant coach on a softball team! I guess you could argue that it shows you can be anything you want if you dream big, but you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who would argue that. And that’s before you even get to the homophobic, racist, sexist, myopic principles he ran on.”

With much of the country worried about its future, We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service could not have arrived at a better time. Check out some of the fan reactions to the album upon its release.
