A West Michigan Teen Was Shot By Police

A 15-year-old girl here in West Michigan was shot by a police officer over the weekend!

A police officer shot a 15-year-old girl near Muskegon Township after responding to a domestic situation. Police say the girl was chasing a 16-year-old boy at the Carriage House Hickory Village Apartments. Officers said the girl allegedly was weilding a knife, but her boyfriend claims it was a barbecue fork, according to WOOD. The officer shot the girl below her knee. Police say they have "very good" dash cam video and audio.
