It was a family affair on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night (Nov. 4). Alicia Keys performed her heartfelt ballad “Blended Family (What You Do for Love)” from her latest album, HERE. In place of A$AP Rocky, up-and-coming rapper Young M.A. join the piano diva to spit an introspective verse about her family upbringing.

"Growing up, I had a little sister, older brother / For us, a father figure was a single mother / My daddy was locked up / My momma was knocked up / And every now and then my brother’s father would pop up / But I consider him dad," she raps.

Backed by The Roots, Keys sang her yearning lyrics from behind the piano before stepping out to the stage and connect with the audience with her commanding voice.

It was a beautiful performance and a major look for Young M.A. who is making waves in the rap game. OOOUUU!

Prior to her performance, Keys sat down with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the first time she met The Roots. Let's just say it was a delectable experience. You have to watch the video below.
