We all know who's running for President, but we may not know who's running for public office closer to home. These people affect our lives more directly and more often than the President usually does, so let's learn a little more about these races.

Next up is a big list, since every single seat in the Michigan House of Representatives is up for grabs. And there are 110 of them!

The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee is looking at redistricting Michigan before the 2020 census. They're trying to raise $20 million for this year's state legislative races. When Republicans gained control of the governor's office and House, the congressional boundaries were redrawn.

Forty incumbent representatives are not running for re-election this year.
