Big Sean Joins Marian Hill for “Down” Remix

Big Sean is pushing himself further to branch out into new genres and sounds, and he's hopping on a major pop hit this time around. The Detroit rapper joins Marian Hill for the remix to her track "Down," and it sees a calmer, intimate side of the Midwest native.

Going with the same flow of the slow, piano-driven beat, Sean raps about making an even closer connection with his current beau.

He rhymes, "We connect time, and we connect minds/You tell me what I need to reset mine/I make you feel a way down to the electron/I get you there quicker than the pre-check line."

While we can't put our finger on it, the verse could very well be a slight tribute to his current girlfriend, Jhené Aiko, who the MC has been dating since their Twenty88 project release last year.

Marian Hill has seen tremendous success with "Down" over the past few months, as the duo's track was featured in a frequently played Apple Music commercial. The duo just released their complete Act One collection album last week (April 7), which features the new remix from Sean.
