Grand Rapids police have arrested a man for putting a cell phone recording in the bathroom of a restaurant.

WOOD-TV reports that 20-year-old Brandyn Rosa, an employee of Penn Station East Coast Subs on 28th Street, is facing charges in relation to the incident. A father and his daughter stopped into the sub shop on Saturday evening (2/24) when the discovery was made. The 14-year-old girl discovered that a cell phone was recording her while she was using the bathroom. However, she didn't notice it until she was already washing her hands.

After informing the staff and calling police, the father went on Facebook Live to warn people. In the video you can see the cell phone placed on top of a light fixture and slightly covered by paper towel. The phone was strategically placed in position so that it could record patrons using the single-person bathroom. The video has already been viewed 56K times with about 2,000 shares.

The suspect is now facing charges of capturing/distributing images of an unclothed person and is expected to be arraigned on Monday. Anyone who has any information is asked to call the GRPD at (616) 456.3400 or Silent Observer at (616) 774.2345.
