This past weekend, Cardi B added yet another trophy to her growing collection when she won the 2017 Spirit of Detroit Award. Although it feels like everyone's been cheering for Cardi at every step of her legendary glo-up, Detroit rapper Kash Doll wasn't too happy when the rapper took home the trophy. She revealed her sentiments in a few tweets.

"I can’t believe my city ," Kash tweeted on Sunday (Oct. 29). When one Twitter user said Kash Doll should've won the award, the rapper/actress revealed that she'd already taken the trophy. It was really just the idea that Cardi, who's a Bronx native without any obvious ties to Detroit, could take home an award that Kash Doll believes is conventionally awarded to Detroit citizens or people who've made big contributions to the Michigan city.

"I already got one, it’s just weird nothing against her I just thought u had to put work in the city to get it like other artist in Detroit," wrote Kash Doll in another tweet.

For her part, Cardi, who recently said yes to Offset's marriage proposal, had no issues accepting the award. "I feel very special and blessed ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you CITY OF DETROIT for giving me THE SPIRIT OF DETROIT AWARD Thank you Hot 107.5 radio station for making it happen," Cardi wrote in an Instagram post yesterday.
