The Chris Brown vs. Soulja Boy bout is no more. The singer reveals he's not participating in the much hyped fight and blames all of the people trying to get involved in the boxing match for its demise.

"I'm bowing out of this Soulja Boy fight," Brown said Tuesday (Feb. 21). "I'ma tell you why, because it was a legit thing on a positive scale. All the wrong people got in the way. The middle man people got in the way. The homies, so to speak, got in the way cause they wanna get a piece of the pie. It's immature, first and foremost. Second of all, ain't no nigga gon' ever hold me up. So, however everything goes, this how we rock. He gon' see me, he gon' see me. I ain't out here moving, nothing crazy. But just don't believe all that bullshit."

Brown's decision will provide plenty of ammunition for Soulja Boy in their feud. This past weekend, the Atlanta rapper claimed Brown was scared to face him.

“Can’t believe this nigga scared to fight me sign the contract Bitch Ass nigga set up the boxing match," Soulja Boy wrote in a series of Twitter posts. “I caught two fades in the streets since this whole beef shit and I won both fights I guess Chris must heard and got scared lol come on boy. Nigga talked all that Shit just to back down and not sign the paper work. Not about that life. No action. Don’t wanna hear about this ever."

The feud between Brown and Soulja Boy started over Karrueche Tran, the ex-girlfriend of Brown. Karrueche returned to the headlines today when news broke of her getting a restraining order against Brown. According to legal documents filed earlier this month, Karreuche alleges the singer threatened to kill her.
