Chris Brown’s life is reportedly spiraling out of control and it’s all because of his temper and drug use, according to an investigate report by Billboard. The R&B singer’s recent legal woes have people who work close to him very concern about his life.

The music publication talked with insiders and those who worked closely with Brown who have seen the singer at his worst moments.

Apparently, Brown has been diagnosed with having a bipolar II condition and he’s been allegedly medicating himself with lean (a mixture of promethazine/codeine syrup and a soft drink). He also spends his days scrolling through ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran’s Instagram page looking to see who is commenting and liking her pictures.

This has been a sticking point for the singer since he recently got into a social media war with Soulja Boy for liking one of Tran’s pictures. Recently, Tran's BFF, Joseph Ryan La Cour, filed a restraining order against Brown claiming that the singer has threatened him after he stood up for Tran.

Brown reportedly also has anger issues as well. He reportedly flew into a rage because he felt his security guards were not watching his home properly. “I’m going to show you what it’s like not to work with Chris Brown for two weeks!” he shouted at the guards before kicking them both out of his house.

His temper is so bad that he had physically attacked his longtime manager, Michael “Mike G” Guirguis, who is currently suing him. Guirguis also claims in his suit that in the four years they worked together Brown suffered from “addiction, anger control and violence issues.”

Friends are concern for Brown’s well-being. An unidentified member of Brown’s team told Billboard that, “He will cuss you out and say, ‘Hey, man, I’m functioning. I’m going to get the work out.' But [he’s not] the first functional star who thinks they can handle those powerful drugs. I got to say with all my heart, he’s dancing with death.”

For HOT 97 radio personality Ebro Darden, Brown’s outlandish behavior in the past few months have dampened his musical ingenuity. “My biggest frustration is that we’re seeing someone who’s literally one of the most talented people in R&B and hip-hop, and he’s once again allegedly putting himself in a situation that makes it harder and harder for his music to be in the forefront of his brain,” he said.

One of Brown's close associates told Billboard that the "Party" singer is hanging around the wrong people, including the Los Angeles Bloods street gang. “He just doesn’t have the right people around him, people who are going to say, ‘Hey, dude, we shouldn’t be here,’" he said.

“He lost Rihanna and Karrueche, two people he loved,” adds Flii Stylz, Brown’s longtime choreographer. “Right now, he doesn’t trust anybody. I’m probably the one who loves him the most out of everybody who is not his real family, and he won’t even talk to me. I can’t get to him.”

This is a fascinating and somewhat sad read. We hope that Chris Brown can get the help that he truly needs. He's a talented artist and we want him to have a long career in the music game.
