DJ Khaled is a man of many hats. For his latest role, he will be taking on the job as Alicia Keys' advisor on season 12 of The Voice.

Swizz's boo will be up against judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Speaking on having the expertise of the We The Best boss at her disposal, the R&B singer noted that it's definitely a plus. “I feel like it’s so incredible to have the diversity that I’m able to bring to the show, especially through Khaled," Keys said in a recent interview with Extra.

"I feel like there's so many ways to look at music, there’s so many ways to create. It’s not just about being a great performer, it’s about being a personality, for the energy that you bring to come out. I think that is what Khaled does very naturally,” she added.

According to Khaled, he was notified of the gig by text. The ever-confident entertainer is already predicting a W. “We gotta put it out there. We’re gonna do it. We’re gonna work hard. We’re gonna make it happen," he said.

The hit curator also plans on using the time together to collab with Keys on new music. “It is connected. It was perfect," he added.

Khaled is already working on his follow-up to 2016's Major Key. He recently linked up in the studio with Chance The Rapper, revealing news of the upcoming collaboration via an Instagram post.

The Voice returns to TV on Feb. 27.
