Actor, writer, director, Young Lando Calrissian, and Golden Globe winner Donald Glover can now add a new title to his resume: two-time Emmy winner. The Atlanta star and creator took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the 2017 Emmys on Sunday.

Glover beat two-time reigning champ Jeffrey Tambor for Transparent, Aziz Ansari for Master of None, Zach Galifianakis for Baskets, Anthony Anderson for black-ish, and William H. Macy for Shameless. Glover became the first black actor to win in the category since Robert Guillaume won in 1985 for Benson.

But Glover already made history earlier in the night. He became the first black director to win the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. He won for directing the fantastic Atlanta episode “B.A.N,” a hilarious episode that found Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry) on a talk show discussing hot-button issues like race and gender identity.
