High off of two recent Golden Globe wins—one for best actor in a comedy and the other for best comedy—Donald Glover has landed an expanded production deal with FX Productions.

This means fans will get the chance to see plenty more adventures between Earn and Paper Boi while watching Glover's artistic hand reign over new and upcoming projects with FX. Unfortunately, due to Donald's work on the upcoming Star Wars stand-alone film, Atlanta is on hold until 2018.

As the comedy with the most-watched show debut since 2013, the man we also know as Childish Gambino has a lot to be thankful for in 2017. Currently averaging 4.8 million viewers an episode with Atlanta, FXP is excited to watch Glover and his talents flourish with their live broadcast channels as well as streaming services.

"Donald is a remarkable artist, effortlessly shifting from actor to writer, producer, director and musician to create one amazing project after another,” says Nick Grad, FX president of original programming and FX Productions. “Atlanta was just the beginning, the breakout comedy of the year and a series revered as much for its originality as its honest look at the experience of being aspiring, young and black in that legendary city. We’re proud to partner with Donald in an overall deal that will allow him to continue turning his creative vision into incredible television."
