Hip-hop took home some big victories at the 2017 Brit Awards.

Drake won the award for Best International Male Solo Artist, and A Tribe Called Quest nabbed the award for Best International Group at this year's ceremony. No British hip-hop artist secured a victory at the event, but Skepta did rock the stage for the jam-packed crowd at the The O2 Arena in London.

Drake was unable to attend the Brit Awards despite being in Europe right now. The Toronto rapper is busy on his Boy Meets World tour, but he did take time to participate in an extensive interview with DJ Semtex. Drizzy went into great detail about his career, including his beef with Meek Mill.

“I respect revenge when it’s warranted," Drake said of his Meek disses. "It’s not something that I’m proud of because it took just as much of an emotional toll on me — maybe not as much as it did on him — but you always gotta hear about it… and just seeing people get so riled up on negativity, it doesn’t feel great… It was just embarrassing to witness, you know? If he had revealed some huge thing, you know, you woulda heard a lot more people, peers of mine chime in.”
