Dreezy has earned the first platinum record of her career. The Chicago rapper's hit single "Body" featuring Jeremih has officially been certified platinum by the RIAA. The song appears on Dreezy's debut album No Hard Feelings, which dropped last summer.

“When I heard the track, I immediately knew I could do something with it,” Dreezy said of her newly platinum single. “It was a different type of record for me, but it sounded good… I knew right away I wanted Jeremih on it.”

Dreezy's achievement follows a very successful run on the Billboard charts for "Body." The track reached No. 62 on the Hot 100, No. 14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, No. 7 on the Hot R&B Songs chart and No. 9 on the R&B Streaming Songs chart. While that's impressive, the Windy City rhymer is determined to reach even greater heights in her career.

“My goal is to be legendary,” she said. “Music is my purpose and I want to set the bar — especially for females — and break all the records that come with it!

Dreezy's No Hard Feelings album may have slid under the radar a bit, but it would be a mistake to say that she is not getting noticed. Dreezy recently received a nomination for 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Despite her hip-hop pedigree, the talented young MC was nominated for Best New R&B Artist. Dreezy will find out if she won on March 5.
