Authorities responded to a West Michigan church Sunday morning after explosives were discovered only a couple hours before Sunday services were scheduled to begin. One person has been arrested in connection to the case.

WOOD TV reports that Grand Haven police officers were called to the St. Patrick & St. Anthony's Parish at 920 Fulton Street in Grand Haven just after 7:00 am. 9:00 am and 11:00 am services were canceled at the Parish. The Parish released a brief statement on Facebook alerting parishioner of the service cancellations.

"The 9:00 and 11:00 AM Masses are canceled this morning due to a small incident. Mass is available @ St. Mary’s in Spring Lake at 11:00 AM"
