French Montana is preparing to release a new album, and fans can expect it as soon as next month. During his performance at the 2017 BET Awards last night, the "Unforgettable" hitmaker announced his new Jungle Rules album, revealing that it would be ready for fans on July 14.

While performing his smash hit with Swae Lee for the packed crowd and viewers at home, the Bronx rapper unveiled a banner that gave a surprise announcement of the upcoming album with the date written below the artwork.

The new project follows in the footsteps of the French's last release, Mac & Cheese 4, which was leaked online prematurely, leading it to be scrapped by his label. Following the tough loss for him and his team, MC4 was then released as a mixtape rather than an official studio album. Jungle Rules will serve as French's official sophomore album with Epic Records, following his debut album, Excuse My French.

If you recall, French has been teasing a new single to come any day now, which will feature The Weeknd and Max B, who is currently serving a lengthy prison sentence.

Reports say the project will also contain a new record with Pharrell, but there's no word on the title as of yet.

We'll be sure to keep you updated on details of Jungle Rules as they come, but for now, we can look forward to getting a full French project on July 14.
