Following Ja Rule’s apology, his business partner, Billy McFarland, has finally addressed the disaster that occurred at Fyre Festival.

As we previously reported, vacationers were promised a luxury experience at the inaugural Fyre Festival but instead they found themselves on hell island. The entire trip turned into a “disorganized mess" as festival-goers had to endure torned-up tents, a lack of food, water and electricity as well as reported feral dogs wandering the festival grounds.

On Friday (April 28), Ja Rule issued a statement via Twitter apologizing to customers for the island fiasco. "I truly apologize as this is NOT MY FAULT...but I’m taking responsibility. I’m deeply sorry to everyone who was inconvenienced by this.”

On Saturday (April 30), in a lengthy statement (via E! News), organizers explained their mistakes in how they handled the event. In part, it reads:

We thought we were ready, but then everyone arrived. The team was overwhelmed. The airport was jam packed. The buses couldn't handle the load. And the wind from rough weather took down half of the tents on the morning our guests were scheduled to arrive. This is an unacceptable guest experience and the Fyre team takes full responsibility for the issues that occurred."

Ja Rule and tech entrepreneur Billy McFarland reportedly organized the expensive island festival (tickets ranged from $1200-$1500 with luxury packages hitting $250,000) promising “a cultural moment created from a blend of music, art, and food.” Both Ja and Farland insist that the festival wasn't a scam.

Organizers of the Fyre Festival said another event would take place in 2018 on a beach venue in the United States. They promised that attendees of this year's festival will receive full refunds and get free VIP passes to the 2018 festival.

Even model Bella Hadid apologized for the Fyre Festival disaster. The supermodel, who didn't actually go to the festival but promoted it heavily on her Twitter page, issued a statement distancing herself from the island fiasco. You can read her tweet below.

We pray that the stranded vacationers were able to get off the island safely. Hopefully, Ja and McFarland and can rectify this situation to everybody's satisfaction.
