The R&B world continues to be a land where its most decorated veterans remain formidable and can deliver masterful music. With Usher recently releasing his new album and Alicia Keys set to unveil her project next month, fans can now rejoice, because John Legend has thrown his hat into the 2016 slumber.

That's right, John Legend will be releasing his new album titled Darkness and Light before the end of the year. This past Thursday night (Oct. 6), Legend revealed the news from the comfort of his home on Facebook Live. His newest endeavor will feature Chance the Rapper, Miguel, and Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes. He didn't shy away from revealing his thoughts about his new project either by saying “the music is really, really, good. “I think it’s my best work yet.”

Aside from delivering the news regarding his latest work, Legend also delved into his new single, "Love Me Now." He provided fans with an in-house performance while he was on the keys.  "I don't know who's gonna kiss you when I'm gone, so I'm gonna love you now like it's all I have," he sang.

After his heartfelt performance, he dived into some questions from his fans. In the midst of answering all 20 of them, he touched on the song's origin, his inspirations, and what a typical weekend is like for him.
