Justin Verlander will pitch in his old stomping grounds at Detroit's Comerica Park for the first time since being traded to the Houston Astros last season.

Verlander made a boatload of memories for Detroit Tigers fans during his 11 year stay in the Motor City.

Rookie of the Year, Cy Young Award Winner, MVP, All Star, and of course two World Series appearances.

Last season he was dealt to the Houston Astros, where he finally won a World Series title where he was arguably the difference the Astros needed down the stretch.

Now he returns to Comerica Park for the first time since that trade, and he had a message for all his Detroit fans posted yesterday to Instagram.

The Tigers were not kind to Verlander when they faced him earlier this season in Houston. they shelled him for four homers in a stunning 6-3 romp over the Astros. True Tiger fans, while showing mad love for Verlander, hopes the same thing happens to him tonight.
