Maps Show Where Rappers Like Future, Lil Uzi Vert and More Are the Most Popular in the U.S.

It's hard to argue that some of our favorite veteran and rising rap stars have fans all around the country, but the New York Times is investigating just where the fan populations come from. The outlet releases maps of the U.S. that show where rappers such as Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Kevin Gates and more are the most and least popular throughout the country.

The maps show all kinds of our favorite names in the music game, with the "March Madness" rapper, Lil Yachty and Travis Scott gaining a lot of traction in the Southeastern region of the country, while Uzi seems to take over majority of the East Coast as a whole, which is similar to Gucci Mane's map. Interestingly enough, Nicki Minaj and Post Malone show a lot of similarities in their maps, except that Malone appears to also have some heavy popularity in the Northwest around Washington.

Pop artists such as Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Imagine Dragons and Selena Gomez display a major popularity throughout the Western half of the United States, while Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Linkin Park, Beyonce, Rihanna and more show their heavier and lighter popularity levels scattered around different regions of the country.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, stood out, as his popularity comes up very short in the Northern regions, but much more heavily in some of the Southern areas of both the East and West coast.
