Michigan Meteor Registers a 2.0 On The Richter Scale [Video]
A meteor that whizzed by the southeast corner of the state Tuesday night caused shock waves that registered a 2.0 on the Richter scale, although experts say that's not big enough for a human to even perceive.
UPDATE: NASA now says they believe the meteor probably landed in Michigan, probably in the area of New Haven.
And the meteor has been the butt of jokes throughout the Detroit metro. Including these gems:
'The Silverdome finally imploded'
'I had Taco Bell. Sorry.'
The meteor's shock wave was detected near New Haven, Michigan which is just north of Detroit in Macomb County.the flash of lightTwitter all fired up.
