Michigan Unclaimed Property Auction: Jewelry, Stamps, More

The Michigan Department of Treasury’s Unclaimed Property Program will hold an auction on Saturday, May 19 and Sunday, May 20.

The Michigan Treasury receives abandoned safe deposit box contents and works to return items to their rightful owners or heirs. Items that are not reunited with their owners can be sold at auction.

This weekend's auction will feature coins, currency, jewelry, precious metals, stamp collections and more.

The auction will take place in Lansing at Lansing Quality Suites, 901 Delta Commerce Drive. The public is welcome to inspect the items from 3 p.m - 8 p.m. on Friday, May 18. Doors will open at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday with the auction starting at 9 a.m.
