Migos and Vic Mensa to Open for Justin Bieber on Purpose Tour
Justin Bieber is gearing up to kick off the North American leg of his Purpose Tour at the end of this month, and he’s bringing some major hip-hop acts to open up for him on the road. The “I’m the One” singer has recruited Migos and Vic Mensa to join him for the stadium tour.
Both Migos and Mensa are sure to deliver their energetic performances just before the Biebs hits the stage for his die-hard fans. The Purpose Tour is slated to kick off on July 29 in Arlington, Texas, and will be hitting up nine stops in North America, before the singer heads across the globe solo, wrapping up on Oct. 7 in Singapore.
While Migos will be coming out for five of the major dates, Mensa is currently joining the crew for all nine of the North American tour stops. Bieber has also signed on Kehlani to open up for him on the tour for two of the earlier stops in Pasadena, Calif. and Denver, Colo. Martin Garrix is also slated to join the “Confident” vocalist for two of the stops as well.
Previously, Beiber sold out 64 U.S. dates and 52 international dates since the launch of his Purpose World Tour earlier this year in March, where he was joined by Post Malone for a slew of dates. In April, the tour saw more than $200 million in earnings, with $1 of each ticket purchased being donated to Pencils of Promise—Bieber is global ambassador for the organization.
