A day after dropping his new single, "Some Way" featuring The Weeknd, NAV announces via a press release that his debut self-titled mixtape will drop next Friday, Feb. 24, through Weeknd's XO/Republic Records. The mixtape will be the first in a multi-project deal Nav signed with XO.

In recent months, Nav has appeared in videos with Travis Scott and Belly, who is as well signed to XO, and as of December, had an album with Metro Boomin in the works. "Some Way" stands to be his biggest song to date, particularly with Weeknd's verse, but Nav got started on SoundCloud racking up millions of plays with songs like "Take Me Simple" and "The Man."

Below, Nav gives thanks to Weeknd and wishes him a happy birthday, the singer turning 27 today (Feb. 16). "Happy Bday to my brother @theweeknd. Thank you for the opportunity," he wrote. "Some Way" is currently available via iTunes and all streaming services, already making Spotify's Most Necessary playlistNav drops a week from tomorrow. Plus, peep how he pops up in Abel's new video for "Reminder."
