NBC Announcer Was Trippin’, For Real, at the Olympics

Since this is an issue I can identify with extremely well, I would like to see NBC take a stand and suspend @AlTrautwig for the remainder of the Olympics. Check out this story courtesy of USA Today.

NBC’s gymnastics announcer at the Rio Games, Al Trautwig, has people talking today after suggesting that the adoptive parents of American gymnast Simone Biles are not actually her parents.

“They may be mom and dad but they are NOT her parents,” he wrote in a tweet that has been deleted.

Simone and her younger sister were adopted in 2001.
