Nike Is Opening Four Sneakeasy Pop-Up Shops to Celebrate Air Max Day

The annual celebration of the Nike Air Max sneaker is upon us. With Air Max Day just around the corner, the Swoosh celebrates the historic Air Max series by opening four Sneakeasy pop-up shops to help ring in the festivities and provide a window for what’s next with the sneaker series.

Sneakerheads can visit the pop-up shops in New York City, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles. To help celebrate the Air Max Day in a grand way, Nike will bring back a mix of retros, remixes and innovations that will release throughout the month of March. The line-up of sneakers set to be released from the Swoosh include the long-awaited Nike Air VaporMax, the Nike Air Max 1 Elephant and much more.

Below, check out the locations and activities set to occur in the month of March leading up to Air Max Day, which is March 26.

NEW YORK
When: March 20-26, 12pm-6pm and 7pm-10pm
Where: 45 Grand Street New York, NY
Consumers will have the opportunity to visit the Sneakeasy pop-up celebrating the past, present and future of Nike Air. Also, on March 25-26, additional consumer activations will launch all over the city at Nike Soho, NikeLab 21 Mercer, Nike Flatiron, Nike x Kith, atmos, Bandier and Concepts NYC.

TORONTO

Where: Surprise location
A curated experience by Director X, the Sneakeasy pop-up in Toronto will include interactive displays created by six Toronto visionaries that creatively bring to life three decades of key Air Max milestones and silhouettes.

CHICAGO
When: March 25
Where: Surprise location
The Chicago Sneakeasy pop-up will celebrate the past, present and future of Nike Air with a curated collection of local art installations inspired by “air” and “vapor,” an interactive photo experience and a surprise music performance.

LOS ANGELES
When: March 25-26
Where: Surprise location
The Los Angeles pop-up will give consumers the chance to purchase products from the NIKEiD Printing opportunity to experience the Air VaporMax, chance to purchase products from the NIKEiD Printing Press and check out the history and heritage of Nike Air.
