To help celebrate New York Fashion Week, Nike will enhance the experience by partnering with innovative collaborators to remix a few of its classic silhouettes during the fashion festivities. One sneaker in particular that has a lot of people anticipating its release is the collaborative shoe between VLONE and NikeLab, the iconic Air Force 1 Low.

Paying homage to the large neighborhood in the Northern section of the New York City, co-founder of VLONE, A$AP Bari and NikeLab present this luxurious and updated version the AF1. Honoring the past, present and future of Harlem basketball culture, the shoe features hits of bright orange on the stitching, VLONE logos on the heel, Swoosh logo, midsole, outsole and tongue. Unlike the limited set of VLONE kicks released at last year's ComplexCon, this 2017 version will feature embroidery on each shoe going across the entire heel.

The roll out of the NikeLab x VLONE Air Force 1 will be part of Nike's NYFW celebration. Scheduled to drop on Sat., Feb. 11, NikeLab will celebrate the release of this highly anticipated shoe with a special pop-up experience in Harlem over the weekend. Check back with XXL in the coming days to find out more details about the release.
