After releasing the sensual BDY On Me,” Omarion returns with another song more geared to radio with “Distance.”

Clearly jumping on the dancehall-pop trend made popular by Major Lazer and Drake, the R&B mack takes us to the tropics as he yearns for a woman he can call his own. "Hit me on the phone / I be up late night talking like a smooth operator Losing control / I need that boom boom right now," he sings.

The song is definitely ear candy and will certainly get plenty of spins at clubs from coast to coast. The tune is reportedly the first single from King O's upcoming album, which is still a work in progress.

In an interview with Rap-Up, Omarion revealed that she shot a video already for “Distance” in South Africa. “I can’t wait for people to hear, for people to see it,” he said. "We actually shot three different videos over there. It was an amazing experience to be in a place...for the first time. You’re really connected with the experience. The video is amazing. I can’t wait for people to see it.”
