Parking In Downtown Will Now Cost You More Money, But There Is Some Good News!
Get your coins together, because parking in downtown Grand Rapids will cost you more money! But there is some good news!

Parking prices are going up starting Thursday! Hourly meter prices are increasing from $.50 to $1; $.75 parking to $1; and $1.25 to $1.50. For the parking lots, short-term rates per half-hour will increase from $1 to $1.25. Monthly rates will also see an increase, according to WOOD.
Now for the good news! The free DASH bus service is being expanded, they will run for free from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. on weekdays. Also, The Rapid’s Silver Line bus service will be free north of Wealthy Street.
