Another day, another fire freestyle from Royce Da 5’9″. Today (Jan. 23), Royce gives us two for the price of one when he freestyles over Migos’ “Bad & Boujee” and French Montana and Kodak Black’s “Lockjaw” for "Beats Keep Callin'." The amount of quotable lyrics from this record is insane.

For the first half of the song, the Slaughterhouse member gets busy over "Bad & Boujee," which is currently back to being the No. 1 record on the charts right now. Royce then transitions to a more melodic flow for the second half of the record that finds him rapping over "Lockjaw

The Detroit native is on fire right now. He released a freestyle over DJ Khaled’s “I Got the Keys” last week and before that he ripped a freestyle over Phresher’s “Wait a Minute.”

The freestyles were so good that Eminem texted him to praise his new records. A screenshot of Em’s text was posted on Royce’s Instagram. “Really? Ur an asshole. Those fuckin freestyles u put out r devastating. Incredible. I hate u. Die,” wrote Slim Shady to Royce Da 5’9”.

The beauty about the freestyles is that it touches on current topics while showing off Royce's insane lyrical ability. He raps about Trump, Soulja Boy, The Game's manager Wack 100 and everything in between. It's fun to listen to.

Last year Royce released two projects—a mixtape called Respect the Shooter in March and his Layers album in April. It wouldn't be surprising to see a new mixtape from Royce Da 5’9” very soon.
