It's fruitless to complain about the weather in Michigan, but man, the last few days have been strange, with sunlight giving way to downpours in a matter of minutes.

And now, someone captured some dramatic waterspouts and funnel clouds sailing over Ludington.

The wind kicked up considerably late yesterday afternoon, and these spouts were caught over Lake Michigan near Business Route 31. They look dramatic, but are harmless for the most part. You just don't like seeing them directly over your head.
