The time has officially been set for what we Michiganders would argue is the biggest in state football game matchup in the nation.

The University of Michigan Wolverines will take on the Michigan State Spartans on Saturday, October 29 at noon in East Lansing.

The game will be broadcast on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

The announcement came on the one-year anniversary of MSU's shocking 27-23 victory over U of M in 2015. In that game, the Spartans pulled out the win after a fumble by Michigan's Punter Blake O'Neill.
