Fuller Avenue is closed north of Leonard Street in Grand Rapids following a water main break.

Wood TV 8 reports that the 12-inch line burst Thursday morning.

A City of Grand Rapids spokesman blamed Michigan’s freeze-thaw cycle for the broken 12-inch line.

Businesses nearby are experiencing a water outage. Water should be functioning at these businesses by 1:30p.m. on Thursday.

Both directions of Fuller Avenue will be closed until about noon on Friday while crews repair the issue.
