104 Year Old GR Woman Says Diet Coke is Key to Long Life [VIDEO]
This 104-year-old is right up my alley!
I want to be friends with her AND that other lady who said booze was the key to longevity.
In fact, let's get them together for a few of my favorite beverages-- Captain Morgan and Diet Coke.
WZZM-13 reports Theresa Rowley celebrated her 104th birthday on Tuesday at Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community in Grand Rapids. She's been a resident for the past 15 years.
She's a big fan of both potato salad and Diet Coke. According to WZZM-13, Rowley says the combo of both is the key to her long life.
She drinks at least one can of Diet Coke every day, and in fact, needs to stock up, saying,
"I drink it because I like it. I'm going shopping Wednesday, and I need more Diet Coke. I have a bag full of empty Diet Coke cans that I need to return to buy more Diet Coke."
Well, we may have missed Ms. Rowley's official birthday party, but I think we can come up with what she might like for a gift...
Happy Birthday, Theresa! Cheers to many more Diet Cokes in your future!
