The Detroit Lions came out strong against the Philidelphia Eagles scoring a touchdown on their first drive. Then, it was all downhill for the remainder of the first half after the Eagle's offense exploded with 24 points.

After the third quarter, the Lions started the 4th quarter down 17 points. Although they did make a solid comeback, dropped passes and missed tackles cost them the game losing 38-35.

Once again Lions fans' hopes are crushed because of fundamental mistakes.

In this game, the Lions had a terrible first quarter being down 10 zip and the end. They did manage to come back in the second quarter scoring 9 ending the half down 10-9 to the Cardinals.

This was Kenny Golladay's first game in the NFL and in the 4th quarter he wound up catching two touchdown passes from Stafford. The Lions scored 20 points in the 4th quarter beating the Cardinals 35 to 23.

There is nothing like having a great showing with the national television audience on Monday Night Football. That is exactly what the Lions did against the New York Giants in 2014.

Calvin Johnson pulled in two touchdown passes in the first quarter alone. Nate Freeze kicked two field goals in the third quarter and Stafford walked in a touchdown and Joique Bell ran another touchdown in the fourth beating the Giants 35-14.
