50 Cent Blasts 2Pac Biopic ‘All Eyez on Me': ‘Catch That S— On a Fire Stick’
Critics aren’t the only ones not liking the new Tupac Shakur biopic, All Eyez on Me. On Friday, 50 Cent went on Instagram and gave his own scathing review of the Benny Boom-directed film.
Posting a photo of himself, 50 wrote in the caption, “Man I watched the 2 PAC film, that was some bulls----. Catch that s--- on a fire stick trust me. LOL SMH TRASH.” 50 then went to the comments section to continue his review.
Using the N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton as the benchmark, the rapper continued, “I just want you to keep me in mind when you watch that shit. Straight out of Compton was good. That was a bad movie man, 2PAC is suppose to be a classic. They they f---ed it up.”
He added, “John Singleton said it was wack, I had to see it for my self. Go check it out you gonna be mad as a mother f---er. I want my money back now!!! Some of yall think I’m hating. SMH nah go see it. When you walk out of the motherf---er like this you gonna learn to listen to me.”
But 50 Cent wasn’t the only celebrity to bash the film. On Twitter, Jada Pinkett Smith also called out the movie for what she said was a “reimagining” of her relationship with Pac. “Forgive me… my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth,” she tweeted.
