Over 400,000 Join Facebook Event to Invade Area 51 to ‘See Them Aliens’
The Internet is a magical place isn't it? People can connect, converse, share thoughts... and troll the crap out of each other.
So what are the trolls up to now? Planning to storm Area 51 to "see them aliens"!
It probs started with a joke between friends but now the "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us" Facebook event has a MASSIVE following.
As of this writing, there are over 400,000 people listed as "attending" the event with another 400,000+ people who are simply "interested" in going.
The event description is pretty straight forward... I guess?
"We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens."
The post continues to say that it is indeed a joke (duh) and anyone affiliated with the page is not to be held responsible for the actions of others...
Probably a smart idea, because I can see at least a few of the thousands showing up at 3a.m. on September 20th and causing some sort of ruckus.
