Amber Alert For Missing 4 Year Old From Kentwood

Kentwood police credit tips generated after the Amber Alert was issued with locating the 4 year old and her mom quickly. The pair were both unharmed. The mother was hospitalized for a mental health evaluation.
Michigan Amber Alert has been issued for 4-year-old Faith Martinez after she was reported missing from Kentwood in Kent County, local officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 immediately.
Faith was last seen with her mother, 30-year-old Pettra Aliesha Yahya, according to the amber alert. Faith is a light-skinned black girl who is approximately 3 feet tall and weighs about 40 pounds. She has long, curly brown hair and brown eyes. Police say Yahya has made threats to harm herself and Faith. No other details about the circumstances of Faith’s disappearance have been released.
Yahya is believed to have taken the child in a red 2005 Buick Rendevous with license plate number EBD2873. Faith is described as a 4-year-old black female while Yahya is a 30-year-old black female who is 5 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds.
