America's Got Talent meets Michigan.

Tonight, Tuesday, July 19th, the Bangor John Glenn High School's pompon team is making their television appearance on the newest episode of America's Got Talent.

According to the team's Instagram, the award-winning team is the Mid American Pompon Class B State Champions for 1994, 2004, 2014, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. The pompon team was awarded the High Kick Champs 2021.

Myleigh Cocks, a graduate on the team, told MLive:

"This is definitely the craziest thing that has ever happened in my life, that's for sure. It still doesn't feel real. I think just walking out the stage together and looking out into the crowd, seeing the audience and the judges, it was like, 'Wow, we're really here and this is insane.'"

The varsity dancers' performance will have a special tribute to the crew's favorite judge, Howie Mandel.

The best part of the upcoming performance is there is an iconic costume for each of the members.

The 13 young women, who are between 15 and 19 years old, will be performing to Pitbull while sporting bald caps and glasses to look like their fave's signature look.

The varsity team took social media by storm back in November of 2021 for a similar routine consisting of a medley of Pitbull's hit gongs while dressed like Mr. Worldwide himself.

Due to the video gaining Pitbull's attention, he ended up posting it on his social media pages and even sent each of the members a tour sweatshirt.

While the team has not seen the footage of their performance just yet, the team is excited to watch it live with the world. Lauren Zarazua, a junior on the pompon team, told MLive that Mandel is her favorite judge on the show and it was an amazing feeling to finally meet him.

"We [the pompon team] work very hard. We spend a long time perfecting our routines to make sure they are performance ready, and to hold them to our standards. We have a team motto 'Beat John Glenn.' We always try to perform better than our last time."

I am super excited to see this group of young ladies crush it on America's Got Talent tonight.

If you want to watch it live, tune in at 8:00 PM EST on NBC or NBC.com.
