While a lot of rappers were turning up or performing paid gigs for the New Year, Boosie BadAzz was enjoying life by taking in new experiences. The Baton Rouge rapper took his talents to the slopes and learned to snowboard over the holiday.

Video has surfaced of Boosie Boo mashing down an icy slope (above). He gleefully yells out "Ima gangsta," while speeding to his destination, before falling.

Boosie is definitely in the holiday spirit. In late November, he dropped his Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas album. The 19-song project boasts guest appearances from fellow Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy as well as Lil Durk, Rich Homie Quan and Boosie’s new artist Koly P.

Boosie didn't waste any time in 2016, putting out five solo projects including In My Feelings (Goin’ Thru It), Out My Feelings in My Past, Thug Talk and Bleek Mode (Thug in Peace Lil Bleek). He also released a collab album with C-Murder called Penitentiary Chances and a compilation featuring his Trill Entertainment crew called Trill Fam—Respect Is a Must.

In other Boosie related news, BadAzz recently visited Billy Earl Dade Middle School in Dallas to raise diabetes awareness. The Louisiana rapper suffers from the disease, and has made it a priority to help out others who have it.

“Basically, we are trying to encourage people with diabetes to eat right, you know, live better,” Boosie told WFAA ABC 8. “When I came home, I had kids coming up to me like ‘I got diabetes and you made me strong when I’m weak.'”
