Cardi B, Lil Kim and More Attend Rihanna’s 2017 Diamond Ball
Rihanna brought her 3rd annual Diamond Ball to New York City this year, and hip-hop's favorite rappers came out to show their support for the fancy, charitable affair. The event, which is hosted by the superstar's Clara Lionel Foundation, saw attendance from the likes of RiRi, herself, Cardi B, Lil Kim, JAY-Z, Beyoncé, Future, Young Thug and plenty of other hip-hop stars.
While the ANTI singer carried a majority of the spotlight throughout the evening, social media kept Cardi B as the main topic of conversation because of the gorgeous mint green Cinderella-esque dress she wore. Kendrick Lamar was also in attendance, taking the stage to perform a killer set of hits, including "HUMBLE." and "LOYALTY." One lucky fan even got to take a selfie with the rapper in the front row.
The evening was a lavish affair for all that came out, as they not only enjoyed comedian Dave Chappelle fulfilling his hosting duties and the sounds of K. Dot live, but they also received a message from former President Barack Obama, who thanked Rihanna personally for her humanitarian work.
Calvin Harris also performed towards the end of the night, which got Queen Bey and Hov to get up out of their seats to dance. Beyoncé was even reportedly seen mouthing the words to Jay's "Show Me What You Got" record that Harris played during his set.
At the end of the night, it was announced that the event helped raise $3 million for the Clara Lionel Foundation, which is named after the singer's grandparents.
