Couple Robbed at Gunpoint in Facebook Sale Gone Bad in Kalamazoo

A 17-year-old male from Kalamazoo has been arrested after robbing a couple at gunpoint.

WZZM-13 reports that the male and female victims had been communicating with the man about selling something on Facebook. 

The 23-year-old male and 19-year-old female arranged to meet the suspect near the corner of Portage Street and E. Stockbridge Avenue around 7p.m. Monday, Nov. 28.

They were sitting in a car when the suspect approached and robbed them at gunpoint before fleeing.

Using security footage from a nearby business and a description of the teen, police were able to find the suspect a short time later.
