Detroit Tigers Tickets Are On Sale Now

The Detroit Tigers tickets have gone on sale today to the public.

If you have been craving a visit to see America's past time, enjoy a hot dog and a cold beverage downtown Detroit, Tiger baseball is back and you can now get your tickets for the 2021 season.

According to WOOD, the Tigers individual game tickets go on sale just one week before the season opener when Detroit takes on Cleveland next Thursday, April 1.

It has been a long time since I have seen a Tigers game and my son has never been so I will be hoping online today to get a pair of tickets to take my son like my dad took me back in the day.

The good news came last week when Governor Gretchen Whitmer increases the amount of people who could attend sporting events and other types of events. Originally Comerica Park were only going to allow 1000 fans but that was now increased to 8200 so your chance of getting a ticket is a little better than before.

Hopefully as the season continues, so will the capacity numbers for Tigers games. They are sitting at 20% now so hopefully that continues to rise.

Right what we hope comes down is the rate of COVID-19 cases. They have been on the rise here in Michigan the cases have doubled since last month. The CDC recommends the positivity rate be at 3% or lower and right now the mitten state is sitting above 8%.
