Max Goldwasser & Fox-17

Do you know about Max Goldwasser?

As a four-time award-winning reporter and Emmy-nominated anchor, Max Goldwasser is a pro in the news industry.

Goldwasser has led the coverage of several breaking news stories and events that have happened in West Michigan, including the Michigan State University school shooting in February 2023.

Besides the tough stories, Max also led the creation of Fox 17 Unfiltered, which is all about "highlighting unique, positive, and uplifting stories in the West Michigan community," according to the Fox-17 website.

Is Max Goldwasser Gone From FOX-17?

Now the big question is...did Max Goldwasser leave Fox-17?

Without his announcement, you probably wonder where I am getting this information.

As you may know weekend morning anchor and reporter, Lauren Kummer, announced that her last day on Fox-17 would be on August 15th.

On September 3rd, Kummer posted a cross-country road trip update that caught my attention.

In her Facebook post, Kummer thanks Max Goldwasser "for moving across the country, so I could use it as an excuse to road trip."

Does that mean that Max Goldwasser has officially left Fox-17?

At this time, it is unclear if Max has left the West Michigan area and FOX-7. However, if he has happy trails to him! We hope Max will make an announcement soon so that we can celebrate him.

We will keep you updated if we learn more.
