Drake Accepts Trophy for Best International Male Solo Artist at BRIT Awards [WATCH]
Drake has been touring England for about a month now, and it seems like the country has officially adopted him.
After playing to sellout crowds on his Boy Meets World Tour and doing some one-off performances, he's been the talk of London Town, and now he's received even more love. On Wednesday (Feb. 22), Drizzy won the prize for Best International Male Solo Artist at this year's BRIT Awards, which he accepted in a pre-recorded speech.
"This is probably the most important award to me that I could possibly win," he said. "You guys obviously know how much I care about UK, how much I care about London. Our goal, being from Toronto, is always to be worldwide, so this really solidifies it for us."
The 30-year-old also shouted out his boy Skepta, who was up for an award as well. "Big up to my brother Skep, OVO, BBK to the world," stated Drake. "Wishing you the best of luck tonight."
