Eminem Becomes First Artist to Have Three Albums Spend 300 Weeks on Billboard Charts
Eminem has broken another music record.
Billboard reports that the Detroit rapper has become the first artist ever to have three albums spend at least 300 weeks on the Billboard charts. His 2010 album, Recovery, earned him the status when it reentered the charts, marking its 300th week on the list. Curtain Call: The Hits and The Eminem Show have both previously spent at least 300 weeks on the charts.
It was announced yesterday that he's now offering "Stan" merchandise, based on his 2000 hit song. The word "stan" was officially added to the Oxford Dictionary back in June. People can head to Em's website to fill out a form and get early access to the merch.
Additionally, Em is set to be the musical guest on SNL later this month, when Chance The Rapper serves as host, adding fuel to the speculation that he'll drop a new album very soon.
