Farmer’s Almanac Makes Prediction For Michigan Summer That You Need To Know
Happy Summer!
With summer vacations being planned, there is so much that you can experience in the summer heat.
However, before you make major plans, the Farmers' Almanac has made weather predictions that may affect what you want to do this summer.

When Does Summer Start?
While we are already experiencing summer heat, summer does not officially start until the end of June.
On Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 4:51 pm EDT, summer starts in the United States. That will be the earliest that summer has started in 128 years!
However, before you bring out the grills and go fishing and swimming, you may want to know what the summer will look like in Michigan.
What Does The Farmer Almanac Say About Other Regions?
The Southeast states and Mid-Atlantic regions will struggle to have fun this summer with lots of soaking showers and steamy days.
As for the North Central region, there will be quite an interesting summer. Farmers' Almanac says that it will be "a seesaw of summer temperatures with an overall warm season, but with occasional cold Canadian air blowing in."
The Southwest will be hit with hot and dry summer conditions, while the Pacific Northwest will be dry but nothing extreme temperature-wise.
What's Michigan's Summer Weather Prediction?
As for our summer in Michigan, it is not giving sunny and dry.
According to the Farmers' Almanac, summers in the Great Lakes and Midwest regions will be muggy and stormy.
With that prediction, Farmer's Almanac also shares that those muggy temperatures may bring a crazy amount of thunderstorms to our area.
All in all, make sure you check the weather and are well-informed before making any summer plans.
