Fight Breaks Out, One Shot at Muskegon Heights Festival

Police are investigating after a fight broke out at the Muskegon Heights Festival early Sunday and one person was wounded by a gunshot.

Wood TV 8 reports that the fight started around 1 a.m. in Rowan Park, causing one of the beer tents to shut down early.

According to police, they saw a man with a bleeding leg after being shot taken away by his friends.

The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.

The cause of the fight is also unknown, as police continue to investigate.
