Former Michigan State University basketball star Keith Appling is wanted in a shooting death of an elderly man.

According to WOOD, Detroit police are in search of 29-year-old Keith Appling who is wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 66-year-old man.

What Detroit police are saying is that Appling and the man had gotten in to a very big argument that unfortunately escalated into a fight that turned physical. Police are accusing Appling of firing several gun shots that wound up fatally wounding the man he got in the argument and fight with.

According to Detroit police, Appling left the scene of the incident and is now a wanted fugitive and police are currently seeking to capture him and return him for justice.

Appling is a former Michigan State University basketball star that went on to join the Portland Trailblazers, then signed with the L.A. Lakers but later waived from the team.
